It all started with a vision for easier and faster metal building construction, especially in the portable and storage building industries.
With 10+ years of experience running a metal roll-forming company, the owner wanted to start a new venture that brought the strength and efficiency of steel to a larger marketplace.
Since our start, Advanced Steel LLC has continued working to provide the best light gauge steel solutions to all contractors and builders in a variety of industries, including portable structures, storage facilities, garages and buildings, and much more.
Advanced Steel is a Light Gauge Steel (LGS) company focused on providing a better, more efficient way to build structures.
Being in the roll forming business before, Russ Miller was intrigued with the idea of light gauge steel structures. In 2020, he purchased a Roll Former that cold rolls light gauge steel into 2×4 & 2×6 C-Channel for the building industry. Our focus is to help create a viable building alternative to lumber construction.
We offer pre-configured light gauge steel framing panels which will save time on building sites. As of now, our focus is on providing the highest quality portable self-storage buildings to our clientele. And as we grow, we see many other opportunities with the LGS structure, specifically in the advancement of floor and roof trusses.
For the future, we believe construction will drastically increase, creating a high demand for green, environmental products. Light-gauge steel buildings are a great way to achieve sustainable construction. These buildings are generally made from recycled materials and energy-efficient processes, plus they often have lower embodied energy than other construction types. LGS has the highest weight-to-strength ratio in the building industry.
